Cell and gene therapy is continuously advancing. This half-day event will provide an update on the rapidly evolving landscape of cell and gene therapies, cover the current challenges in viral vector manufacturing, as well as how to advance the viral vector manufacturing capability in the UK and discuss the challenges encountered in the scaled up expansion of stem cells and ways to overcome these limitations.

Open to all, this event will give the opportunity to listeners to hear from experts in the cell and gene therapy sector about the advancements and limitations of such medicinal products. A selection of talks will be delivered by experts from relevant industry and academia. There are also opportunities for early career researchers (PhDs and postdoctoral researchers) to present their work in short talks and compete for the Early Career Researcher Prize.
