Collection Method: The data deposited is characterisation of a series of Ni/mesoporous silica catalysts by the following; powder x-ray diffraction, nitrogen porosimetry, CO chemisorption, scanning transmission electron microscopy, temperature programmed oxidation/reduction and x-ray absorption spectroscopy and subsequent catalyst screening for ethanol steam reforming.
