    Research Interests

I joined Aston Business School in July 2016 where I am Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance and Research Director of the Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship Department.

Previously, I worked for Alliance Manchester Business School as a Teaching Assistant, and Hull University Business School as a Lecturer in Finance, where I was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and was the Program Leader of the MSc Financial Management. I have an MSc in Finance from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and studied Engineering at Universidade do Minho. Before embarking on my PhD, I worked in the manufacturing industry in various management positions.
