    Biography

    Dr Cain Evans is Programme Director BSc DTS Computer Science (Software Engineering) and co-Programme Director MSc DTS Computer Science (Software Engineering) Degree Apprenticeship based in the Engineering and Physical Science College (EPS) School of Engineering and Technology (APEC).

    Dr Evans has been lecturing for 24 years in the UK and Far East in Computer Science subject areas, including software engineering.

    More recently since 2020 leading DA programmes and delivering modules for undergraduate and postgraduate degree Apprenticeships in the UK.

    He has been involved in Applied Computer Science research predominantly in the areas of Context-aware/LBS/Intelligent Systems- Data, Smart-Care Spaces,  software applications.

    He has extensive experience engaging with universities in the UK and overseas (TNE) as an external examiner at a number of UK universities.

    Prior to becoming an Academician, he was working in industry at Rolls-Royce/EDS as a Systems Engineer.
