Personal profile

Biography

I am a Systems Engineer and doctor in Software Engineering with strong interests in teaching and learning approaches (e.g., gamification, neuroscience-based learning) and software engineering (SE) topics, particularly in the areas of self-adaptation, decision-making under uncertain environments, uncertainty modelling, and Bayesian Learning. I have had the opportunity to work in Industry and Academia, gaining knowledge and insights from both worlds.

In the research field, I aim to support collaboration between the academy and industry with new techniques and approaches; e.g., I contributed to the development of Human-centred SE techniques to support the modelling and reasoning regarding the inherent uncertainty associated with the design and execution of a software system (Twenty20Insight project).

I am currently a Teaching Fellow in APEC's Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) program. Among other activities, I enjoy exploring possibilities for research and collaboration on engaging approaches for teaching and learning in higher education and SE.
