Dr. Majid Azadi is Assistant Professor of Business Analytics in Aston Business School at Aston University.

He obtained his PhD in Business Analytics and Operations Management from University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2021. Before joining Aston Business School, he was an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University. Majid has experience of working in both academia and industry. He has won several research awards to date. His research focus is on Business Analytics, Operations Management, Operations Research, Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chains, and Information Systems. Majid has published over 50 papers in a variety of top-tier academic journals such as Decision Support Systems, Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers & Operations Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research among others.
