Dr, Mrs, Miss
I joined Aston University initially as an undergraduate Optometry student and soon went on to study my PhD investigating new designs of intraocular lenses. I moved on to hospital practice and hospital-based within the hospital eye service in the West Midlands. Here I gained first-hand experience of NHS processes and NIHR research.
I returned to Aston University in 2015 as a research fellow in a collaborative role involving industry and the Ophthalmology department at Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham.
Most recently, I have been appointed as a lecturer in Optometry. I am the third year module leader in Ophthalmic Drugs.
