    Biography

I worked in professional audit and accounting for over 10 years including Big 4, public sector, medium and small practices on a range of very different clients (from a recording company to a building society amongst others).  I also spent about six years in the Governance & Risk Department of Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (now part of UHB) assisting the Governance Director.  I entered university teaching in 2012 with a temporary stint at Keele University and never looked back moving on to Aston in 2019 after working at Northampton and BCU.  My first piece of research was published in 2013 and I've written pieces sporadically since then with my main focus moving to ethics in accounting since working on that area of teaching at BCU.
