I am a metabolic physiologist with research experience investigating the influence of lifestyle factors on the development of metabolic disease. Specifically, a major focus of my work to date has been on investigating how dietary factors may alter hepatic fatty acid partitioning/intrahepatic fat accumulation. I joined Aston University in 2023 as block lead for Gastrointestinal System, and supporting Evidence Based Medicine on the MBChB degree program.
National Institute for Health and Care Research - Research Collaborations Manager. November 2021 – November 2022.
