Abstract
The randomized controlled trials (RCTs), medical experiments, have effected the health of patients, who have been considered for the trials. RTC are widely acknowledged as the acid test of the effectiveness of latest therapies. RCTs have identified various life-saving therapies, from surgical techniques to cancer drugs. In RCTs, their patients are divided into treatment and control groups. It was proved conclusively that certain drugs used to combat the effects of heart attacks did more harm than good, but still patients are being recruited into trials.
