    Abstract

The localization in 2D-electron system induced by surface scattering is investigated. The localization length and the averaged conductance of a narrow metal strip are obtained. For a thick sample we have derived and analysed the boundary condition for quasiclassical electron distribution function under the arbitrary values of Rayleigh parameter.
