Abstract

The development of nanoelectronic applications in future will largely be tied to the accelerated growth of spintronic materials. This is crucial because it will ensure a decrement in energy needed for various application coupled with an increment in their memory as well as processing abilities. Most of these applications already in existence uses spin degree of freedom of electrons. Spin polarization for most of these applications is determined by the magnetic layers utilized as spin polarizers. This chapter therefore explored the various applications in spintronic materials and their future perspective. It is intended that this report serves as a basis to highlight key areas that must be considered by the research community in the development of nanoelectronics etc.
